ABOUT THE PROJECT

Innovative Decision Support System in field crops and conservation tillage

This project aims to establish operational group (OG) of 8 growers, representative of different agricultural regions in the country and specialized in cereals and oil crops as well as Agricultural University-Plovdiv (AUP). 

Main project priority is to develop organizational method for decision making under conservation agriculture (CA). The main foucus is to test scientifically and upgrade CA in accordance to the Bulgarian conditions and as a part of alternative technologies. Additional goals are sustainable solutions against yields and economical profit reduction – main problems after conservation tillage adoption. Besides project aims to improve knowledge and innovations transfer to the industry as well as competitiveness and sustainable production of cereal and oil crops.
